Every year, Herrenknecht at Schwanau is a magnet for thousands of technology enthusiasts. In top political circles, the reputation and renown of the company and of company owner Dr. Martin Herrenknecht continue to soar. In June 2008, Günther Oettinger, Minister President of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg visited our headquarters. In December Herrenknecht invited the Turkish representatives of the press to a press conference with former German chancellor Gerhard Schröder in Istanbul. On the other side of the globe, Herrenknecht took part in "China and Germany - Moving ahead together", a three-year initiative under the joint patronage of the German Federal President Horst Köhler and the Chinese President Hu Jintao. Our top event of the year 2008 was the festive "Herrenknecht Jubilee Gala" celebrating 30 years of successful company history.
