Herrenknecht S-210 on its way to Sedrun.

After only 10 months the Herrenknecht Gripper TBM S-210 is back on track to excavate the eastern tunnel of the Faido-Sedrun section at the Gotthard. Enlarged in diameter by 60cm (total 9,43m), the TBM and the jobsite team are right on schedule for the next 12km.

FIRST BREAKTHROUGH FOR SHANGHAI GIANT.

The first of the two world's largest tunnel boring machines, the Herrenknecht Mixshield S-317, broke through to its target shaft on the island of Changxing on May 28.

HIGH-TECH TUNNEL BORING MACHINE FOR U4 METRO LINE HAMBURG.

The red carpet was rolled out for the factory acceptance test of the Herrenknecht Mixshield S-440. The contractors and the client and media representatives took a close look at the high-tech tunnel boring machine for the U4 metro line Hamburg (Germany) on March 5, 2008.
