HERRENKNECHT VERTICAL GmbH presents its first deep drilling rig.

Just over a year after its foundation, HERRENKNECHT VERTICAL GmbH, a subsidiary of HERRENKNECHT AG, has presented its first, fully assembled deep drilling rig to the public in Schwanau (southern Germany).

At the end of April 2006, right on schedule, Herrenknecht AG handed over the first tunnelling machine with a diameter of 15.43m to the Chinese client "Shanghai Changjiang Tunnel & Bridge Construction Co., Ltd.".
