Herrenknecht Combisegments.

To satisfy the most stringent requirements, Herrenknecht develops and produces innovative segment moulds for internally organized UtilityTunnelling, using the combisegment concept. Thanks to the special design, using combisegments makes it extremely economic to produce lining segments because their single-shell design means that second-step lining can be dispensed with completely.

 

Combisegments bring the following advantages:

  • flexible and economic tailor-made tunnel segment production
  • tunnelling and final lining, e.g. with GFK Inliners (Ø: 2 to 4m) in a single work step
  • suitable for all manner of tunnel types (water, sewage, electricity)
  • reduced wall thicknesses for considerably smaller tunnel outer diameters.
