Logistics that’s fast and smart.

The transportation and logistics systems located downstream of the TBM need to be perfectly matched to the excavation rate of the tunnel boring machine. For example, powerful conveyor belt systems geared to the requirements of the construction site ensure that the material excavated by the TBM is carried away by the quickest, most direct and economic route. It may travel to a temporary store or final destination site some kilometers away outside the tunnel. Train, truck and transportation systems, whether rail-based or not, ensure that the rolling stock material or the lining segments are supplied to tunnel production "just in time".
