"Underground Technology Services AG" (UTS AG) is a subsidiary of Herrenknecht AG. UTS AG’s core competence is services in technical planning, as well as the support of implementation and monitoring of machine excavation (Ø > 4.20m), including all peripheral equipment.
This covers:
- consultation services at planning stage regarding all the crucial facilities needed to operate a dynamic tunnel construction site;
- consultation services and support to optimize tunnelling, particularly coordinating the interfaces between machine technology, construction operation and logistics;
- preventive maintenance including all supply lines for the tunnelling machine and the upstream and downstream technical equipment and system solutions with spare parts and excavation tools;
- provision of solution-orientated assistance for all problems occurring during tunnelling;
- retooling if necessary, refurbishment or correct machine storage.
To achieve this, UTS AG can call on selected technical personnel such as machine operators, polishers and other specialists all around the world and so can provide the customer’s construction site management with experienced specialist teams.
