The Herrenknecht Geotechnics Day brings together leading experts and practitioners from across the world including construction professionals, geotechnical designers, consultants - and academic researchers.
The event features keynote presentations, practical case studies, and a guided tour through Herrenknecht’s state-of-the-art workshop facilities. Together, we will dive into how geotechnical insights are shaping the future of mechanized tunnelling - from project planning to equipment innovation.
The goal of the conference is to deepen awareness and improve understanding of how significantly the ground conditions influence machine design and operation. It aims to foster a dialogue between Herrenknecht as a cutting-edge machine manufacturer, clients, and project owners in order to jointly advance mechanized tunnelling to the next level.

We invite you to submit abstracts (max. 300 words) for the Herrenknecht Geotechnics Day. Topics of interest include geotechnical challenges in mechanized tunnel construction, rock and soil mechanics, geological investigation and innovations in equipment and technology.
No full paper required. Selected abstracts will be invited for oral presentations of 15 minutes.
