Bad Liebenzell

2006

It goes steep uphill in the small town of Bad Liebenzell in the northern Black Forest: The sewage system of the district Beinberg has to cope with considerable uphill gradients of up to 52.6 percent and needed to be overhauled completely, since it is located in the water protection zone #2. The existing combined sewage system was plannend to be replaced by a new separation system that would protect Bad Liebenzell’s well catchment against infiltrating untreated wastewater that would be transferred to the sewage system of the town of Bad Liebenzell over a distance of 2.5 kilometers.

A not exactly everyday project for the Herrenknecht micromachine AVN1200TC which mastered the 121.5-meter-long inclines and declines neatly and precisely within two weeks.
